"How to choose a technology" is a performance that tries to critique the prescriptive nature of design methods practiced in the industry, especially to predict the future.

A ballot box is kept for three days at the event where visitors write their favourite future technologies. At the end of three days, the ballot is opened and the technologies are presented to the audience. These post-it notes (typical design thinking) are then pasted on a dart-board. Audience is now asked to aim. The post-it with most darts is chosen and discussed.
