Data Disorientation Artefacts
A personal exhibition at Museo de Reina Sofia using design fiction to provoke conversations on the disorienting effects of excessive information. Three artefacts exploring surveillance, wellness, and control.
Data disorientation artefacts uses principles of fun and design fiction to provoke conversations on disorienting effects of excessive information. It is part of the research project at Museo de Reina Sofia as a part of research into cultural studies.
The project includes three artefacts:
- MeeSeeTV — a CCTV camera that represents an unknown eye seeing and hearing us.
- Supplements — a set of pills that can help you feel loved, clear headed and willing to share things.
- Whose in control lamp — a lamp whose state is not in the hands of its owner and turns on and off based on external fluctuations (Bitcoin prices) beyond the owners control.\
